HNC advanced face and body therapies (SQA)

In this course, you will be kept up to date with a variety of Advanced Facial and Body Techniques and treatments that are currently in vogue within the beauty industry. The unit is designed to be flexible in delivery and in line with current trends.  This qualification will include: Dermaplaning, Microneedling (face and scalp), Mesotherapy, LED and chemical peels.  Included in this is an open research project which is a good opportunity for you to learn more about what is available on the market at present and to understand what other salons are offering. 

Entry qualification: Ideally SVQ level 3 or above.  

If you have an HNC or HND you will be eligible for accreditation to prior learning in this unit so please select the option when you book.

The course is an 8-10 weeks flexible learning opportunity.  However, you may not need to study for this duration if you have been approved as having prior knowledge and studied this before.  Contact us to discuss your options.

In house group training is available with a group discount applied.  Equipment and kit is not included in the price of the training and you need to have the device of choice for Microneedling on the day of training.  Prices start from £460 for a 4T medical microneedling device.

Outcomes

On successful completion of the unit the learner will be able to:

1. Research current advanced facial and body therapy techniques.
2. Plan, prepare and perform advanced facial and body therapy techniques.
3. Provide homecare and aftercare advice including retail recommendations.
4. Evaluate your performance of the advanced facial and body therapy techniques.
