HNC Body Massage Techniques

The SQA Body Massage Techniques is an SCQF level 7 qualification. On this course you will learn full body massage incorporating the use of heat and gyrator massage.

There is a written assessment under closed book conditions to ensure learners can demonstrate their knowledge of massage treatments. Anatomy and Physiology underpins the teaching of body massage and assessments include various aspects of the body systems affected by massage.

There are five practical assessments to be done on new clients covering the outcomes and assessment criteria set by SQA. Prior to the practical assessments, there will be formative assessment opportunities to gain essential feedback on skills for the practical massage treatments. This training course is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge of massage and anatomy and Physiology but not essential.
