Part time, flexible learning, theory from home and with a tutor, practical and theory duration varies, approximately 8 weeks.

This SQA approved comprehensive facial course covers the theory you need to understand the anatomy and physiology of the skin, skincare, homecare, aftercare, how to treat skin types and conditions, benefits and effects of caring for skin, how to perform facial treatments including:

Skin analysis, diagnosis, consultation, contraindications, contra actions, treatment planning, client aims and conditions.

Supported with anatomy and physiology knowledge and a short assessment.

Practical treatments include:  full facial routine including cleanse, exfoliate, tone, mask moisturise, massage, luxury facial including mask, steam and other luxurious add on therapies to indulge the client.
